and moved himself to Boston where he toiled in the world of Subsidized
Housing as a HUD Auditor for several years. To keep himself from going
insane, he started taking improv classes at one of Boston's big Improv
theaters. Eventually he went on to perform and teach professionally with
them until 2003 when he decided to shuck his corporate shackles for more
creative pursuits and return to his native California.

Cashing in his savings, he took a year to focus on photography (a hobby
he picked up just prior to the first of his two trips to Nepal [2001 and
2003]) and ended up self publishing his first book of photos in 2005
(http://photography.ClayRobeson.net). Sticking with the creative world,
Clay started his own video production company and worked on smaller
scale projects with the occasional one-off big deal (a web commercial
for the Dial corporation and a series of web shorts for Mobile Complete)
as well as some roles in front of the camera including Perfect Proposal
on The Learning Channel, Who Shot Jessee James on the History Channel,
Torrent on G4 Tech TV and about 7 seconds of screen time in High School
Musical 3. The need for a steady paycheck, however, led him into the
world of fine dining and Italian Wine. He spent 4 years as the assistant
manager and Sommelier of La Pastaia, a 4 star Italian restaurant in San
Jose.

In October of 2009, an old friend from Penn State called him up with a
job proposal, and starting that December he went to work for Philips
Healthcare in their Patient Care and Clinical Informatics sector working
in the Software Customer Service division leading their Communications
group. He now lives in San Francisco, and keeps up his performance
chops by working with the Un-Scripted Theater Company
(http://un-scripted.com) doing shows like The Great Puppet Bollywood
Extravaganza (Improvised Puppet Bollywood-style Musical) and Secret
Identity Crisis (Improvised Graphic Novel/Superhero story), is working
on a sci-fi drama web series with puppets (http://galaxyscouts.net), and
can't keep a girlfriend to save his life (probably because he spends so
much time working with puppets).

Great read! Filled in a lot of gaps. The last time I saw Clay in person was Sean Spudich's wedding somewhere in Philly (Bensalem? I got lost several times).
I wish I were closer so I could take in Clay's productions.
Appreciate the links.
