Odds & Ends

I have a bunch of little stuff that by themselves is not enough for a full blog...

Today I heard from Robb Brown (Fall 1985) . He is still in Clearfield selling cars. He says the last update of his info in the database was 1990.... 18 years... Our pledges this coming fall will have been born in 1990... Wow, time flies.

I have not heard from John Nakahara (Fall 1992) in a while. He has had two children, a boy and a girl. His boy, named Ben, was born October 7, 2006. We have another Skin legacy named Ben, born on October 7.... Tracey Rabekoff's (Spring 1988) son, born in 2003.

I'm sure you know that this is the 25th year of SKN. We have two reunions, the first will be in Erie, and will coincide with the annual football game. This will be on the weekend of April 5th. The actives should be blogging about this soon. The second reunion is July 25-27 in State College. You can find out more about this reunion on this blog. Unfortunately, the Behrend 60th reunion is the same weekend in Erie.

Shon Flemming (Fall 1990) is now in Florida, in St Augustine. He build a house with a pool in the back and still has parties that last into the early morning hours. They have a guest suite and welcome guests that bring beer.

Tim Gilboy (Fall 1988) wrote: "A funny note about my the company I work for. The company was bought by Siemens a couple of years ago and folded into their environmental group. We just changed our name to Siemens Environmental Systems and Services. And we go by the acronym SESS."

Jeff Schenker (Fall 1988) is back out exploring the world. He is now traveling through southeast Asia. If you want to keep up with his travels, check out his travel log at

Can you imagine a SKN brother in the beer industry? Tom Micsky (Spring 1988) writes: "Laurie and I have jumped around quite a bit over the past few years, but have been more stable recently. In November of 2004 we had a chance to come back to Pittsburgh when I changed companies from Quaker Oats/PepsiCo to H. J. Heinz. I worked in the corporate sales planning office for nearly 3 years before an opportunity with Miller Brewing Company came up and I left Heinz this past July. I am now managing a sales team from my home office in the north Pittsburgh suburbs. It was nice not having to move to advance the career. The 3 years we have spent back home have now been the longest we have lived anywhere since we got married back in 1991. Hopefully we can stick around here a while and get my oldest daughter through high school (currently a freshman)."

I think that is enough for now. If you have an update, drop me a quick note.

Louise (Keane) Teodosio

Christmas photo with Louise (Keane) Teodosio (Fall 1983), daughter Emma (4 1/2) and husband Gary.

Sharon (Hines) Nolan

Christmas picture from Sharon (Hines) Nolan, Little Sister (Spring 1983). She writes:
My husband, Pat, and my kids Brendan (7) and Aimee (5) live in Colorado Springs, CO since 1994. I’ve been working at Verizon (formerly MCI and WorldCom) for 14 years as a software development manager. We love to ski during the winter and camp/boat in the summer. If anyone is out this way, give us a shout.

Geno

I heard from another long lost brother. Gene Edwards (Fall 1985) is now living in the Carolinas (like all the cool kids).

It truly has been way too long. In a nutshell a lot has occurred since my time at Raymond_Karsan Associates. I received a Ph.D in counseling psychology from New Mexico State University in the Fall of 2006 and I currently work as a psychologist at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in their counseling center. I have been married for the last 6 years and have a 4 and a half month old baby girl named Jordyn Roth Edwards. She is the light of my life:)
